Joy

I have always been someone to push to be joyful even the chaos. Now, has its been perfection along the way, not at all. I was taking time today to really think back over my life. Seeing that through the chaotic, peaceful, sad, frustrating, overwhelming, wanting to give up and life experiences there was a glimpse of what true joy is.

Joy was never something that would show on my face. I mean literally, I had resting mean face all the time. What's funny is that joy would show up when I eat food and do things that I love. I was one to never really express joy when I saw other people ( fake smile often). Of course with growth, time in the chaotic moments and seeking the feet of Jesus. I was able to come to a realization, that the joy that is expressed on my face comes out of a place of true intimacy with God. Once I got to that place, Joy was something that was always present. I mean always present. Seeing people, life through the lenses of Jesus. I found joy in all things.

There might be a time in your life that you can look back and see. Whoa, why was I like that, why did my face look like that. You might be like that even now. I want to encourage you to seek the kingdom of God. It will take time to grow, evolve and live from a place of Joy. Don't rush the way that God is wanting to move in your life. Follow his timing and his way. Its always better
